About Sharing with Seniors
Hello, I'm Emma.
Like many of you, life has taken a few unexpected turns. Some days feel familiar. Other days bring new questions, new beginnings, and opportunities to see life in a different way.
Not long ago, during a winter storm and a quiet evening by candlelight, I found myself wondering how other people were doing. Were they warm? Were they managing? Were they feeling alone?
That simple thought stayed with me.
It also led me to a question.
What if there were a place where we could simply share our stories?
That's how Sharing with Seniors began.
This isn't just a blog about growing older.
It's a place to remember where we've been, celebrate where we are, and encourage one another as we move forward.
Here you'll find stories about family, friendships, hometown memories, music, traditions, small adventures, and the everyday moments that quietly shape our lives. Along the way we'll also talk about the practical things we all face—health, housing, finances, technology, retirement, and finding new purpose.
Most of all, I hope this becomes a place where you feel welcome.
Whether you're married, widowed, divorced, single, retired, still working, or simply figuring out what's next, I believe we have more in common than we sometimes realize.
There's just one rule here.
No politics.
There are plenty of places for those conversations. Here, I'd rather spend our time sharing stories, exchanging ideas, laughing a little, learning something new, and reminding each other that none of us is walking this journey alone.
So...
Come in.
Pull up a chair.
Let me tell you a story.
I'm glad you're here.
Be well,
Emma
